How much does it cost? You can participate in Comic Fight for free. You can always read the comics, and vote on the current competitions at no charge. Occasionally we'll hold a special competition that requires an entry fee. However, those competitions will also have cash prizes for the winners! Why 656 x 405 pixels? There are a few reasons for the size. The aspect ratio of comic width:height is 1.618:1. Many of you may recognize this as the golden ratio. Using this ratio helps make an effective and pleasing layout. The overall size of the comic area was chosen so people can see the entire comic at 800 x 600 resolution with Internet Explorer, while still looking good at 1024 x 768. What's with the circle in the corner? The corner circle is an ongoing project to allow people who enjoy Comic Fight! to add their own touch to the site. Each time the page is loaded, a circle is chosen randomly from a pool of approved corner circles. If you want to make one, you're certainly welcome. You can download the original corner circle, and have fun with it. If your circle contains objectionable material, or does not integrate well with the rest of the site, it will be rejected.
